I just tried to use the mens' toilets at Wolverhampton station. I realised my mistake as the security guy spotted me, pissed himself laughing and announced "That's the mens', Love!" at the top of his voice to the entertainment of everyone on the platform. Tactful. Ah well, maybe I brightened someone's boring journey...
