Home made glass etching paste

Karl and I persuaded Helen to whip us up some home made glass etching paste using a recipe we found on the internet.
We found some glasses in the cupboard at work and tried out paste out on them- The recipe said to leave the paste on for 3 days for best results.
We left it on for a week and got no results!
Dammit!

Back to the drawing board for this one but it did look quite promising all yellow and stinky.

We found the pro stuff on amazon so we'll have to bite the bullet and pay £10
