Ray sent me theses pictures earlier, when she was back above ground- she's been involved in national rail week and working with young people to get them to consider engineering.
These are the works and maintenance tunnels under Bristol station.
Bristol- like most of the UK- has a railway built by Islambard Kingdom Brunel- as a result you get some rather fancy looking buildings above ground- but the attention to detail even below ground is very impressive!
I'll have to nag her for a tour.
