Hayley and Jay came to stay :)

I have had a lovely weekend with excellent company and an adventure. :)

Hayley and Jay arrived on Friday and had one hell of a drive- It usually takes about 3-4 hours to get from here to Cardiff, but with a conspiracy of roadworks and school/ end of the day traffic it took them almost 6. Insane!
So, we mooched about for a bit and then headed out to Nandos for dinner. I tried their portabello mushroom burger for the fist rime and it was yummy! We then went to a bar in town with a roof terrace and live band- Although we had so much catching up to do that we barely heard any of the music!
We got home about one and then stayed up chatting for ages too.

We had planned to go to Oxford on Saturday but again the roadworks got the better of us- We ended up in Kettering which was new for us all!

 After a good long session of charity shop shopping in Kettering we headed to St Neots and went to the St Georges day celebrations.

 We got home pretty late in the evening so we ordered our respective take aways- Hayley and I had HokuHoku, Jay had chippys and Traff had pizzas- which turned out to be buy one get one free so he had to finish that off for breakfast!
We just watched loads of louis thereux episodes all night. We were sparko!

On Sunday we went into town for sunday dinner and a look about. The weather was beautiful today so it all looks pretty idyllic!
