We ended up buying a lady friend for him, called Birdseye.
she has an eyepatch.
We also ended up with two new little fishies- we've named them uncle Bill and Aunt Edie.
We introduced them to the tank and poor swimmy didn't know what to do with himself. poor sod. he swamp up to one of the little fish and it moved- I've never seen him move so far.
he's spent the whole day avoiding Birdseye- he can just about deal with the little fishes now. just.
I made the pie and it was a massive success!
give it a go!
I boiled some potatoes in the left over stock and they were yummy as mash too!
