100 Days happy- Day 37- Bess the Box fish falls in love with a moshi monster

OK, I think these photos are really cute- so this will be my photo of the day (Actually, I'm pretty pleased with myself- I've only used photos I haven't taken myself 4 times so far in this whole challenge- and seeing as I can't have my phone at work to take photos that's not bad!- And I've made up for it in a way because some days I post many more than one photo, It will have worked out that I've posted the full 100 and then some by the end, I promise!)

Just before I do, Here are my happy things for the day:
I cycled to work today- That was really pretty-it was sunny, and frosty so the park looked like a painting and the fields by work were all sparkly- however, you can't take a photo very easily on a bike!

I had an invitation to do research at Pemberley College at Cambridge university. That made me happy. I feel all clever and valued!

I remembered to post all my parcels so Jen, My mum, Randi and the Girl's school in Islamabad will soon be receiving exciting post.

Anyways, here are the cutest photos you'll see all day- This is almost as good as that octopus which was inseparable from it's Mr Potatohead toy:

Bess the boxfish has got herself a toy-boy boyfriend - literally - after falling in love with a plastic fish.

Staff at the Great Yarmouth Sea Life centre noticed Bess, a cow-horned boxfish, became dreamy eyed soon after a plastic Moshi Monster, named Blurp, was added to her tank as part of a new display.

The couple share the same distinctive spiky body shape leading staff to believe that Bess has mistaken Blurp for another of her species.

Blurp, a Moshi Monsters toy, was placed in the tank as part of a hide-and-seek exhibit. Staff have decided to leave him in there after the pair became inseparable

Curator Christine Pitcher said: 'I know they usually say opposites attract but in this case they couldnít be more alike.

'The Moshi has spikes which are similar the boxfish's own horns so it's likely the fish thinks it's another boxfish.

Boxfish are small fish which live near the equator whose tough scales form a box-like set of armour, meaning the adults cannot swim quickly, but also cannot be eaten by most other fish

However, staff have now decided to leave the Moshi in the tank permanently rather than see Bess end up broken-hearted.

Ms Pitcher added: 'Whatever the reason the fish has taken such a shine to the toy, we think we are going to have to leave it in there now so the boxfish doesnít pine for his new friend.'
